Date Taken: March 19 - 21, 2004 Location: Pine Mountain Club, CA Equipment: Takahashi FS152 telescope & SBIG ST10XME CCD camera Notes: A three day weekend ,a new moon and a great chance to break in the new scope. All images are RGB combinations of 4 minute subexposures (unbinned). I used a Takahashi TOA focal reducer (f5.7) for the first time. It yields a fast system and a image scale of 1.6 arc seconds per pixel. The Tak EM200 handled the large scope well. I got these GC images and a few galaxies as well. It was lots of fun and I'm starting to like this scope! |
