| The new observatory is operational as of June, 2006 and is located near Idyllwild, CA. The property borders the San Bernadino National Forest and is in a village of a couple thousand inhabitants. The site is at approximately 5,200' altitude. |

| A 12.5" RCOS truss telescope is the main instrument with a Takahashi FSQ for wide-field work. |
| The observatory is a short but vertical walk from the residence. |
| We get snow each winter but both scopes can be controlled from inside a small warm room for comfortable imaging. |
